Meet Claudia – Founder of Diakla

I built Diakla for you.

I combine the heart of an internationally experienced journalist with the mindset of a strategist to help you communicate with clarity, confidence, and influence.
Over the years, I’ve worked with founders, scientists, entrepreneurs, C-suite leaders, changemakers, and professionals at every career stage. Across industries – from health technologies and finance to creative, corporate, and not-for-profit – I’ve seen the same challenge: brilliant people holding back.
Not because their work wasn’t important, but because they lacked the strategy, language, or clarity to make their message resonate and deliver results. My background in journalism taught me how to uncover the heart of a story; my experience in strategic communications taught me how to position it so the right people listen, remember, and act.
And while I’ve partnered with board members, CEOs, and global researchers, I’ve also learned from audiences far beyond the boardroom — including my time as a flight attendant, reconnecting with “real people” and sharpening my instinct for what truly resonates.
I grew up in the German region where the Brothers Grimm collected their fairy tales — the same forests where Little Red Riding Hood outsmarted the wolf. That story has stayed with me. In communications, as in fairy tales, the right mix of courage, confidence, clarity, and strategy can outsmart challenges, overcome doubt, and change the ending.

What's in a name?
“Dia” comes from the Greek for through — symbolising clarity, insight, and purposeful movement. It’s also deeply personal: Dia was my childhood nickname, given to me by my father — a constant reminder that clarity, identity, and connection matter. That philosophy is at the heart of how I help clients today.
“Kla” comes from the start of my name, reshaped with a ‘K’ to represent calm strength and quiet boldness.
The Diakla logo brings it to life — a serene, strong Roman-goddess figure holding a sword, not to attack, but to embody clarity, courage, and truth.
